All endorsing associations must meet the following criteria:

• Not-for-profit

• At least national in scope with corporate or individual membership

• Dedicated primarily to the field of air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, ventilation, and/or plumbing

• Have a significant portion of its membership involved in the HVAC&R market
