No, you can attend the Show and not be a member of ASHRAE; however, ASHRAE members that register for the ASHRAE Winter Meeting are entitled to attend the Show at no charge. For ASHRAE membership information and for information on ASHRAE's Winter Meeting, click here: ashrae.org
No one under 18 years old is permitted to attend the Show, however 16-17 year olds may attend but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times when in the exhibit areas.
No, due to the sensitive nature of new products and unique booth displays at the Show, photography and/or video recording of any booths within the Exhibit areas by any attendee/exhibitor personnel is prohibited. Exceptions are made only when permission is obtained from the exhibitor whose booth/product is being photographed/video taped and/or all individuals appearing in the photograph or video.

Of the three major airports in the New York metropolitan area La Guardia Airport is the closest to midtown and the Javits Center. Travel time by taxi from the airports to midtown Manhattan varies by airport. Travel time from LaGuardia to midtown can take anywhere from 25-40 minutes. JFK can take anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour and Newark 40 to 60 minutes.
