These bodies are looking at professionals in various fields seeking help in their efforts. In the United States the ASHRAE took a leading role in efforts to reduce the energy consumption by 2020 in non-residential buildings by 30%. In EU were issued directives with the similar purpose. AMCA International has tasked its Fan Committee to propose a labeling system for fans by their energy efficiency. The progress has been shared with the ASHRAE 90.1 Committee as well as with ISO Technical Committee 117 - Fans. |
